The empire

"Well, I'll jump in that suspiciously colored pond over there to wash myself from that mucus and crap that is covering me..."
And then he jumped in the pond....

As they're cleaning themselves, they see the dirt under them start to rise and the ground start to rumble.

"Ugh... what vile demon must curse us now..." Even then he stands up, his blade not yet clean, as he prepares to fight.

"Whatever it might be, I'm actually naked, so give me some time to put my clothes on before I help you to confront it..."

*He starts by putting a sock on*

Finally, a giant undead worm of the same type that you all encountered blasts out of the ground and attempts to swallow the paladin.

"what the hell kinda necromancer would raise that?!" Amy screams

"I'm not sure, but it's breath is rancid!" The paladin yells as he holds the creatures gaping jaws open.

The worm starts pushing it's mouth down harder to try and smash the Paladin, and another Worm blasts out of the ground and attacks Amy.

"God help us..." As he says this he seems to gain a newly found strength and breaks the jaw of the worm he was holding and pierces it's brain with his sword. He then procceeds to slash at the other worm.

The worm re-targets and goes after Vlad, slamming it's body into the ground to attack him.

"Well ok, this is time for me to do something..."
He slowly closed his right eye and his left one turned black.
"Take care of my body once I'll be finished with this..."
A dark aura surrounded him and as he pulled his and toward the worm, a part of its long body started to melt, cutting it in half. He cutted both worms at several places and they reformed into about 20 small worms.

The dark aura surrounding the unamed man immediately disapeared
"Those smaller worms should be easier to take care of...."
He collapsed, emptied of all his vital energy.

The main body of the worms comes out, and it seems to have been made out of pieces of mashed flesh, with it's still intact head drooping on the ground still, the head that Vlad impaled roared and burrows back into the ground.

Amy lights a bomb she had in her pack and throughs it into the worms mouth

The Hydra-like creature's impaled head explodes, and it runs away to go find extra parts to put on.

"Blargh, carry me guys, I'm way too weak...We gotta leave this place before it comes back"
Said the unamed, laying on the floor.

"Alright, lead the way." Vlad replies hastely as he picks up what is now the Drunk.

Amy starts to run, after an hour of walking she shouts "We're almost to the mountains, quickly now!"

"You heard the lady? FASTER!!!"

As they were running to the mountains, Amy tripped on a pebble...

While they're nearing the mountain, clashes of Swords and axes can be heard in the distance, and a large flaming rock lands near them.

"Another battle is going on over there apparently... watch out for the arrows Vlad!"

As Vlad continues to run he hastily replies," No worries my friend." He then pulls out a willow wood cross from his shirt and shouts out," Deflect Arrows!" At this a bubble seems to form around the group, bouncing the occassional arrow off.
"This wont last forever as I am a bit tired, we must find shelter!"

"The mountains are close, there's many holes and tunnel over there, don't stop!" The group lead toward the mountains, cutting right through the battlefield.

While running through the battlefield, they see Orcs and, for some reason, Humans fighting together against the Undead horde.

"This is quite abnormal, but I guess all must band together against this new threat... Now hurry! I think there is shelter up ahead!"

Amy gets up and runs "Shit! I didn't know this was here"
