The empire

"Good choice of strategy, unless it is already destroyed, there is another Orc base on the other side of this mountain, we can go there to rest...that is, if there's a place to rest at."

"Lead the way" says the odd moogle. Amy sighs at her mental resignation as leader
"You should lead gark"

"Very well then! You, the tall human, defend the back."

"It would be my pleasure!" He then slows down slightly, lagging behind the group slightly, striking at any undead that get within reach.

Amy throughs a smoke bomb, trying to ruin the aim of the undead

"I don't know if the smoke weapon will help, but it will at least deter them none the less, keep moving!"

Hours later, they get to an old barn and farmhouse "wonder who lives there" amy says to the group

"Who knows..but we're nearing the Orc base, search this place quickly and then we'll leave."

"Agreed, search for food, water, and any medical supplies. If we come across any money then leave it here. I'll pay for whatever we take."

As you venture tword the house a girl (looking about 7 or 8 ) wrapped in a plaid blanket opens the door with an innocent look on her face "may I help you you?"

"A small human?" he walks into the house, not bothering to see what happened here.

"Yes young one, we need food and shelter. We will pay anything neccessary. Where are your parents?"

"They left for town a few hours ago.." The girl says " and no...no payments are needed"

"I thank you." He then begins to roam the house, taking some much needed supplies.

"erm..." The little girl says "can you not take stuff..."


Amy sits down in an odd chair

"We only need a little, we have a long way to travel and need to stop the undead army making their way here."

"p-please...i dont want my parents to be mad at me"

Amy looks at the girl wierdly "why did you let us in then?"

"Like I said before, we will pay for the food we take." He then pulls out a sack of gold then throws it onto a nearby table."There, that should be enough."

"I hear them in the distance, speed up this chatter of yours, we must go or die by their hands."

"p-please..my parents will beat me if anything happens to the farm!"

"Then you must come with us, as you'll die from the undead if you stay here." He then bends down, hinting at her to hop on his back," We must hurry, we haven't much time."

"If we do not leave now, there won't be a you to beat, we have to leave NOW!" He changes his tone to a very less gentle voice, and charges out the door.

Amy sighs "great..another mouth to feed"

I then begin to chase after the orc, watching behind him for the enemy.

and, after a freakin while, the man on the paladin's back woke up

"Woah, where in the gods' name are we?"
