THIS, is the Brood Lord.

Brood Lords replace the Swarm Guardians, they fire a Mantalisk(it replaces the Broodling) as their attack.


I think they look pretty cool, what do you think about the 2 replacements?

By changing their name but keeping the EXACT same look, of course!

Well they look kind of alike... I thought it looked like a Guardian when I first saw it as well.

that brood lord looks like a beast. it is sad that they took out the guardien. maybe they will add them as heroes or something so we can still use them in the editor.

also, that thing reminds me of a mirelurk from fallout 3. anyone play fallout 3 and think that as well??

I have a friend who have fallout 3, but he doesn't like the game, so he never play it...too bad, cuz its a great game belong me.

I hope they do add "heros" or something similar so the editor will have more features to it.(It espeically improve quality of SC2 rping)

They'll add heroes, and they said they'd all be unique.

good. it would be like having 2x the unit capability. lets just hope they dont mess up the editor and make it like warcraft 3 editor. the terran was good but the triggers where a pain.

yeah... I'm afraid to see the new trigger system... I fear that it is going to be way harder to learn than the original SC's

Original SC triggers was so easy to learn, I immediately got everything. The only thing that confused me at the very start was locations.

Urg, its confusing. You have to customize a lot of things, for example movement speed, what sound it makes when it attacks/gets hit, what it says when you click on it. The trigger system is similar to starforge, but you can either type the code it in or click a few things.

ya, another thing i hope they do is even keep the original heroes like gui montag and stuff. that would be almost 3x the unit capability then. maybe 4x if they did that and added a ton of new heroes.

I would hope they also allow customized units or allow us to change graphics of already existing units.

There's still a problem: You know in RP games how I use some doodad and ressource unit to make signs such as "stack on/off" and other... There probably won't be those "glitch" units in SC2 ... How am I gonna define the triggers in the console in my RPs?
