45 Second Wait

Get rid of it. Knowing how much some people post on here, it'll take them up to 10 minutes for 10 replies.


Myself, it takes around 20-40 minutes just to reply to all the messages I get, and I don't even get all of them.

You CAN remove it, I don't remember how.

If not, then just switch forums... this isn't the best forum to use, proboards is better by far.

I do believe I made it clear in the other topic that I am not changing that.

I say that if you take less than 45 seconds to post, it's spam. Also, Flood Control applies to the individual and/or if somebody has posted before you. It's a notice that tells you a new post has been made in the topic, and I think it's rather useful to keep your posts coherent.

I might reduce the wait to 30 seconds, but I doubt I'll remove it unless you have a very amazing reason to do so.

with 45 seconds wait, I have plenty enough time to write all my replies without even waiting a second to post them.

Just a suggestion.... Instead of a wait why not a post per minute limit?

That is the same damn thing but instead of being 45 seconds it's a minute. I believe our users wanted to remove it, not to increase it.

Sorry but i do believe that if youre allowed 2 posters per minute thats more posts than 1 every 45 seconds. Thats what i meant.

I think the 45 minute wait applies only to the individual, not to the whole forum.
