I edited out all my other tabs and programs, though.

Ah, yeah. Happened once to me, but it isn't usually that long.
The maintenance was announced on the support forums. It's officially over, but I believe the servers are still having some problems, but this should be fixed quite soon.

It happened to me twice this morning, was fixed in a few seconds.
